WHAT ARE HOUSEHOLD GOODS?

The "Household Goods" includes furniture, electrical appliances, articles for the home and belongings, which, not having the character of personal effects, serve for domestic use or comfort. Household goods enter the country free of duty payment. Among the items included in the household items are:

 

ELECTRONIC OR APPLIANCES EQUIPMENT

• Fans

• Refrigerators (Freezers)

• Digital Radios

• TVs

 

DURABLE ITEMS

• Grinding, Chopping or Peeling Machines

• Coffee makers

• Electric or Regular Pots

• Hair Dryers

• Coffee mills

• Cutlery

 

DRESSING OR KITCHEN LINEN

• Tablecloths

•Bed sheets

• Towels

• Shower Curtains

 

OTHER ITEMS LIKE

• glassware, home decorations, living room, dining room, bedroom, terrace, mattress, etc.

 

 

IMPORTANT  

Household goods must be shipped to Cuba from the same country where the beneficiary comes from. For the authorization of the household items, the residential spaces of the house to which they are intended will be considered. In the case of household electrical equipment, only two (2) equipment of each type will be exempt from payment.

 

The Household Office is made as an indivisible unit. In other words, dispatch is only authorized in a full container (FCL) and not in a consolidated way (LCL) with other merchandise
